SINGLE PURPOSE Providing Opportunities for Christian Service and Outreach "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Jn13:34-35 WHO WE ARE:Single Purpose is a group of single Christians (mostly in our 30’s) who desire to serve Christ by serving others around us. The group is led by Lifeline, a 30’s singles ministry of Overlake Christian Church, though all are welcome to join in the service opportunities. We provide volunteer opportunities for Christian singles to serve both individually and together on service projects that glorify Christ and serve our communities.
You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature, rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Gal 5:13-14 HOW SINGLE PURPOSE WORKS:
The intent of this site is to provide a clearing house for information about Group Service Projects and Individual Volunteer Opportunities.
You can visit these pages to get information about upcoming service projects, or get ideas on service projects you might want to organize.
You can also join our email list and we’ll keep you informed of upcoming events. We’ll email you using a "blind copy" to protect your confidentiality and you can unsubscribe at any time.
You are also welcome to propose service projects of your own, or let us know of other great volunteer opportunities for established service ministries. Please share your ideas with us.
